Implants

Step 1: When a tooth is missing there are many replacement options. Many times the best option is a dental implant.

Step 2: A standard root form type dental implant.

Step 3: The implant is placed in the bone and allowed to ossiointegrate for approximately three to four months. A healing cap is placed over the head of the implant to protect it.

Step 4: An abutment is attached to the implant, an impression is taken to make the final crown, and a temporary crown is placed to help contour the tissues surrounding the teeth.

After color, fit, feel and look are just as the doctor and patient desires, the final crown is permanently cemented or screw retained.
